SellaBand kann Künstler über die Community unterstützen und auf Grund von unterschiedlichen Kooperationen sehr interessante Deals ermöglichen für den Erfolg des Projektes und der eigenen Karriere ist der Künstler allerdings selbst verantwortlich. Was ist ein Believer? Ein Believer ist ein Musikliebhaber der zu SellaBand kommt und einen Artist gefunden hat der Ihm / Ihr gefällt und an den er „glaubt“. Dieses Vertrauen kann der Believer zeigen indem Sie / Er, je nach Ermessen Anteile Parts an dem Künstler und dessen Projekt kauft. Solange der Artist seinen Ziel Betrag für das Projekt noch nicht erreicht hat kann der Believer seine Parts aus diesem Projekt wieder herausziehen und in ein anderes Projekt investieren. Warum wurde SellaBand gegründet? Die Idee basiert auf der Liebe zur Musik und der Frustration immer die gleichen Artists im Radio zu hören, während viele talentierte Künstler von der traditionellen Musikindustrie unbemerkt bleiben. Zu dieser Zeit hat eine kleine Auswahl an Personen in der Musikindustrie bestimmt, welcher Künstler ein Album aufnehmen kann und was sich somit der Rest der Welt im Radio anhört. Hinzu kam die Tatsache, dass auf Grund sinkender Musikverkäufe, immer weniger Artists gesinged wurden. Das Resultat war dass mehr und mehr Artists nicht das Album aufnehmen konnten das Sie gerne wollten, und die Fans nicht die Musik hören konnten die Sie gerne gehört hätten.
